Gale Deslongchamps, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hi Ally :) It sounds darned good to me! I only drink the occasional glass of wine I mostly drink cola. :)I've had the same bottle of Sambooka in the frige for at least 5 years now. It should be ( Ooo How sweet it is!) WShen I get around to opening it...( Hick!) Pardon me... :( Gale

Gale Deslongchamps, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Tanq and tonic please.

Samantha, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'd like a squid milkshake please. Warmed. With melted cheese on top.

I've never had a brandy alexander. I think it's about time. It made John Lennon walk around all night with a tampax on his head, it's gotta be halfway decent. Although that brandy/laudanum concoction Johnny Depp was drinking in From Hell looked pretty tasty. Did I spell laudanum right, Duane?

Arthur, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

If it isn't right we understand it anyway. heh heh... Isn't it a painkiller though? Gale

Gale Deslongchamps, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Remy Martin. Oh yes. Class in a glass.

DavidM, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

beer me. repeatedly.

was from hell any good arthur?

jess, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I've recently become a fan of cosmopolitans. Oh yes.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Jess-Um, I think I might be in the minority here, but it didn't really do it for me. The references to fin de siecle decadence were a little obvious. Heather Graham acted as if she was in an SNL Cockney hooker skit and it was hardly Johnny Depp's finest performance, either. Visually, it wasn't as striking as I hoped. I preferred the opening scene in Moulin Rouge, where the camera is swooping through the Montmarte.

Ian Holm was good, though.

I may have just been tired and hungover. I couldn't keep my eyes open towards the end.

Those of you who've had the White Russian Milkshake know you haven't lived until you've had my White Russian Milkshake. According to Top London Bartender Dick Bradsell, these are called Hummers.

My favorite poison isn't a drink... but I'll have a beer, or vodka and.

Sean, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

pint o pride, no make that a G&T (it has been unseasonably warm today)

Alan at home, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ive just been to the pub so I don't fancy any more alcohol. What I'd really like is a really top-class glass of home-made lemonade.

Tom, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

anything cheap, nasty and fizzy which i will proceed to consume through straw

di, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Cooky glass, of course. Sorry to be so boring.

maryann, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I like whisky. I also like Kamikazes and bloody marys. And grasshoppers etc etc. These days I find myself drinking beer more and more, cant afford to fritter my money away on expensive drinks. Perhaps glue sniffing would be a better option over all?

Menelaus Darcy, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

alcohol is gross.

duane, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

What do you enjoy then Duane? oh no, forget I asked that.

Why is alcohol gross my little ray of sunshine?

Menelaus Darcy, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

it tastes bad & the effects are unpleasant.

duane, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

well yes, sometimes the effects are unpleasant, but if it tastes bad you are drinking the wrong things.

Menelaus Darcy, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I take it we are going to be unable to entice you out on an ILE extravaganza then? Are you still planning a bbq?

Menelaus Darcy, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

maybe later.

duane, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

You buyin'? A pint of Enoch's Hammer then please.

Kodanshi, Wednesday, 31 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i'll have a gallonof butt mucous please.

Geoff, Wednesday, 31 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Let's see - we've got three pints of lager, a pint of Adnams, a pint of Old Roger, a - what was it? oh yeah - a whisky and ginger ale (no ice), a vodkaredbull ... oh, another lager. And six packets of prawn cocktail crisps. Well, plain, then.

Oh and a guinness extra cold... pint. Sorry.

Jeff, Wednesday, 31 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Geoff, that was uncontrollably nasty. Bravo.

I've got to stick with my fallback: gin martini, straight up with olives. Actually, since it's Halloween and I ain't got no job, I'm going to go have one right now! (Drinking on an empty stomach on weekday mornings: classic or dud?)
