I initially had horrors it ws all going to be a bit 'community project', especially when the continuity announcer mentioned Chuwumbawumba, but it was really good.
For those who didn't: it was a story of teenage life written and acted by kids plucked off the streets of Brighton. The musical element consisted of them rapping, beat boxing and singing. A couple of them should really get record deals off the back of it. It was good enough to make me shudder with horrible recognition.

The MCing was very good though and surprisingly not lame, yeah like you say when I first saw it I was afraid it'd end up yeah Community Project style "my name is underprivileged child and im here to say".
Did they write all the stuff themselves and things? It sounded kind of grimey!
