a guy came up to me when i was sitting outside brel, claiming to be the king of "pertick" before translating that helpfully into "partick", and then telling ILX's own Cathy that he thought she was going "away home to frig herself".

The King: Do you know what Vodka's made out of?
Me: Well, they say it's made out of potatoes, but i think that's a myth...
The King: No no no (a pause to emphasise the astonshing fact he was about to relate)....Potatoes!
