When Worlds Collide!

It must have been last summer or so I'd just got a mobile phone. And I kept getting missed calls from some number. So I texted the guy and he was all "fuck off you're calling me". I presumed he was just an asshole taking the piss, and decided to try and ignore him. So the missed calls kept coming and eventually I said to hell with it and rang him. So he's telling me "I was on a boat all weekend, my phone was at home, I came back and there were more missed calls from you". And at this stage its obvious he's being genuine. So we're both laughing a bit and thinking we better ring the phone company or whatever so then he asks where I'm from. So I'm like "Malahide". And he says straight away "oh do you know a guy called Ronan Fitzgerald". So obviously thats me, and he turns out to be a friend of mine from school. Fucking crazy mad stuff or what. It's worth noting neither us had the others phone number in the phone beforehand. I still dont know what happened.

Yep, I'm on March but since I didn't understand Yahoogroups and we changed mail addresses @ work I haven't been reading or posting to it, due to not getting round to figure out non- Yahoo mail YGs interface DUMMY FOO. I don't recall swapping tapes with you though!? Was this rather a long time ago?! Either zat or eet voz anuzzer Sarah, hein?

I do now want to go and get Jellybabies MMMMMMMmmm. BITE OFF THEIR HEADS num num...!

I'm not sure if this counts, as it's JUST HAPPENED, but: Although Sarah C is not the Sarah C who David R thought she was, *I* do know Sarah Cronin! I don't know if she reads this, but I'm pretty sure she was susbscribed to the London-Indie list for a while.

I've met the other Sarah as well - she strikes me as the kind of person who would make an excellent mixtape given half the chance (as long as she avoids PJ & Duncan).

I have a feeling I know Sarah Cronin too. It sure rings a bell. Maybe she went to my school.

Bumping into other Sarah isn't really that odd. She's all over the internet like a worm. Mind you, the internet is big, and I'm often surpised how often I stumble across little sites I know even when doing unrealted Google searches. I think that it's partly cause we are a heavy amateur users for non-IT content and partly an intriguing inability to think outside of the box. I'd like Google's hyperlink tracking data to somehow graphically represent how tightly things loop, if you see what I mean.

Crikey Andrew, I don't actually recall meeting you either, but the PJ&Duncan reference makes me think this was possibly a LIUSA affair. Which chap were you?

Sarah, I am instantly forgettable so it doesn't surprise me that you can't place me. I was involved with the whole LIUSA shebang (though I was mostly upstairs), I was also at the Blue Posts briefly a couple of weeks ago with Matt, Martin, Richard, etc. I'm also a pal of Kalliope's and seem to remember meeting you at the George a while ago. Next time I see you I'll step on yer toes.

I can confirm that Sarahs Clarke and Cronin are both discrete members of the large group of Sarahs whom I can boast the privilege of knowing.

There is more than one Canadian Sarah of our acquaintance, but I'm almost definite that Sarah Cronin is the person you would think of as Canadian Sarah, Nick.
