Appropriate for the day. . .

How many of you have used these? What happened?

I was in the dorms the last time it was "seriously" used. There was always this legend of a ghost that lived in our dorm, so we all thought it would be a fun time to whip it up and give it a shot... putting all of our hands on it, and seeing what "magic" it would bring.

There was this rather cruel girl named Debbie who was watching all of this making snide comments. So of course, the ouija soon spelled out "DEBESHIT". She got all confused, scared, and offended and shortly left.

I wouldn't touch one. I personally wouldn't go conjuring spirits without the proper precautions...

I've never had the chance to use one but I am interested. Others have told me of experiences that they fully believed in.

Personally, I think I would be suspicious of other players pushing the planchette instead of spirits but I certainly wouldn't mind being proven wrong.

I did the Ouija Board, Ouija Board thing once.

The Yes - No questions tended to yield relatively coherent results. But any question like "what is your name?" "where are you from?" or "what is your message for us?" tended to yield answers like DFGKRE, REMSSMSSO, PIEREWLA & SDFDJTUNC.

So not very scary.

I used to play with my little brother, and the messages would be elaborate and exciting, but he is the sort of person to push the indicator. Everyone else I've ever played with has inspired hysterical laughter in me; at one point I ruined a girl's chance of speaking to her dead hamster or something because I couldn't stop laughing at how serious she was.

Come now, everyone has a right to speak to Fluffy. And cheers to DV for the obvious reference. ;-)

My one experience with a Ouiji board resulted in perhaps the most bastard thing I've ever done; I pushed the pointer around so that it looked like my dead brother was talking to me, then pretended to be very upset and freaked out about the whole thing. In the aftermath, one of my friends was left with his girlfriend attempting to contact his grandfather while everyone else at the party sat around looking spooked and disturbed. It fucking ROCKED. (Well, not really, but I do think I missed my calling as an actor.)

one month passes...
hmmm....dunno if you check this out but I'm gonna go ahead and post. Let me see here, I've have used the Board for quite some time now, so I'm somewhat knowledgeable in this area. So to answer your questions....It is best used during night time(less electrical energy around so the spirit can communicate much easier), as far as what happened, well each time was different(there was an exception where I kept getting the same spirit). Now depending on your mood, other people moods, and your surrounding, will be the kind of feedback you get. Sometimes you will get a disturbed spirit, other times you won't. If you do have any questions concerning the use of of the Board, feel free to email me. Rob Sry this is kinda long.
