Are there train services between vienna and lvov, ukraine.
How long isd the journey? what does it cost? Is it easy to get tickets in vienna or do we need to reserve seats?

That's the German rail system, Ed. Vienna is in Autria.

Any way, the answer is yes -- there's a direct train (20 hours) from the Südbahnhof. Go here for more info: http://www.oebb.at/en/index.html

bahn.de is easily the best and easiest to use online timetable for travelk just about anywhere in europe, including the UK

A very pretty Mitteleuropean city. I haven't been in ages, but I loved the heurigen (sp?) in the summer.
