That moment in every episode when his club ran out of juice and he fell out of the sky, prolonging the capture of the bad-guy until the end of the episode...UNFUCKWITHABLY CLASSIC.

Best thing about the Flintstones.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 11 May 2004 19:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Did he ever do anything but scream, though?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 11 May 2004 19:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Those girls he rode around with? HAWTEEZ.

I just liked it when he would yell "Captain Caveman!". I'm a fan of people running around and shouting their names.

Great, now I just envisioned the next Outkast video and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.

from the Toonepedia:

Cavey and the girls began on Sept. 10, 1977, in one of the back segments of Scooby's All-Star Laugh-a-Lympics (a show that featured dozens of earlier Hanna-Barbera
characters, from Quick Draw McGraw to Yakky Doodle). Three years later they graduated to a show of their own. Captain Caveman & the Teen Angels debuted on ABC on
March 8, 1980. The last new episode aired on June 21 of that year. Including earlier segments, there were 40 episodes.

No sooner had Captain Caveman & the Teen Angels ceased production, than Cavey got himself a gig as a supporting character in a new Flintstones production. The
Flintstones Comedy Show, which debuted on NBC on November 22, 1980, had a segment in which Betty and Wilma were reporters and Captain Caveman was a local
newsmaker, in a riff obviously inspired by the Superman/Lois Lane relationship. (Apparently, this series took place before the misadventure that got him frozen for the
"Teen Angels" to find.)

Shaving for charity -- c/d?

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 11 May 2004 19:22 (twenty-two years ago)

depends on where you're shaving.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 11 May 2004 19:24 (twenty-two years ago)

depends on whether or not Charity likes 'em like that.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 11 May 2004 19:24 (twenty-two years ago)

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 11 May 2004 19:25 (twenty-two years ago)

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 11 May 2004 19:57 (twenty-two years ago)

When I was a school, this kid, who was a bit of a knob, had his (long) hair wavy-permed. I suppose he thought it wd make him look rowr, but instead, it made him look like captain caveman. My god how he suffered.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Tuesday, 11 May 2004 20:07 (twenty-two years ago)

was captain caveman in the wacky racers too or we're those different cavemen?
