I think it's a greenspun bug and I'm not sure if our friend vincentv actually gets them (or it's really really blatant surveillance).

Back when someone or other was harassing someone else there was a message saying every message was being sent to semi-regular Rebecca's e-mail address and I e-mailed her and said WTF and she said she wasnt getting them. So.

Ooh, I'd forgotten about that. I signed up for the daily digest email version once so I could read it offline and save on the phonebills (this was on ILM when there wasn't so much traffic, so it wasn't quite as insane as it sounds), except it worked for about a week and then it stopped working, and by this time I'd decided that it probably wasn't a very good idea after all anyway, so I unsubscribed a bit later when I remembered.

Then a while later some troll or other started a fight and Greenspun decided to tell everyone posting to the thread that it was sending me an email, even though it wasn't sending me any emails and I wasn't subscribed any more and I hadn't posted anything on that thread. So if anyone else thought that this was a hint that I was the troll, it wasn't me, and I was at least as baffled as everyone else...

Vince Vaughn is DA MAN. He is sooper, kid. Don't hate or prevaricate, you reprobate. He and Joaquin Phoenix basically saved that movie about how Anne Heche's brother was going to be hung in Singapore for being a drug dealer. (Of course, that movie had Jada Pinkett in it, too, which means it would be categorically impossible for it to suck, but man did it TRY.)
