the novelty of my newly aquired wacom tablet has not yet worn off, and after the success of the MSPaint album covers thread, how about setting up an ilx forum with LIVE DRAWING and such? you can get a free groupboard from www.groupboard.com - if i set up a new ILXor board is there a way for me to embed the html into the page (like that 'style over substance' thread with scrolling text and the face-pulling N.s)?

I thought this was going to be about drawing on paper. Which I luv luv luv. I am doing life drawing classes Wednesdays at the polytech and it is the most fun. Though incredibly ridiculously hard work and my people all look like lumpen, wild-eyed Martians.

This weekend I did some etchings based on the drawings (and some of the cat) and they were surprisingly effective.

I am thinking of hocking them off to cover the cost ofthe classes. There is an older lady in my class who does this and she reckoned I could too, but I don't know how to start. I expect it would involve getting them framed and stuff and don't think it would be worth it. I find it hard to believe that people would pay for them (to be honest though, I find it hard to believe that people would pay for Irene's, and I am wrong there).

Wacom tablets are wonderful. I can't get a handle on doing normal darkroom-type things with a mouse, so I have to save up and buy one soon.

how do you save the pictures???

clicking on 'save' stores the picture in the groupboard archive i think, and then erases it. i used the screencapture in paint shop pro and then hosted the jpgs. you can get a simple screencap prog from http://personal.riverusers.com/~rcoll/screencapture.zip, and then crop the pictures and convert them to jpgs, if you've got the software. more screen capture software from: http://www.freeware-download.com/Grafik/ScreenCapture/
