have you ever looked at the big picture? was it good, or did it fill you with foreboding?

Apprentice runner-up fired as judge at Miss Universe pageant in Ecuador
QUITO, Ecuador (AP) — Less than two months after getting fired by Donald Trump on the U.S. television reality show The Apprentice, runner-up Kwame Jackson got the boot again Monday — this time as a judge for Trump’s Miss Universe pageant.
Jackson, the runner-up to the reality show’s April 15 final prize — a yearlong, $250,000 US job with the billionaire developer — was disqualified by pageant organizers for waving at beauty queens he bumped into in their hotel lobby.
“Kwame is intelligent, charming and we were really looking forward to him judging on our panel,” pageant president Paula Shugart said in a statement made available to The Associated Press. “But his interaction with the delegates, albeit unintentional, is strictly prohibited.”
The pageant statement quoted Jackson saying he was “disappointed and disheartened” and “honestly had no idea that (the hotel) was off limits.”
“I was meeting up with some friends who had flown in to support me, when I was recognized by some of the delegates,” the 29-year-old New Yorker and Harvard University graduate said. “As a natural human response, I extended my hand to greet them.”
Shugart said the pageant has offered Jackson a spot on next year’s panel of judges. His replacement for Tuesday night’s Miss Universe final was not immediately named.
The Miss Universe competition, co-owned by Trump and U.S. television company NBC, draws women from more than 80 countries worldwide and has been around for 53 years. NBC also airs The Apprentice.

or, maybe there isnt a big picture?

Sometimes people only look at the Big Picture though, never seeing the small things they can do to achieve their goals. It is a bigger problem, I think, than never seeing the Big Picture at all.

I don't think, necessarily, that there is a Big Picture to be seen because whatever the Big Picture is at any moment in time can change in an instant because of a person's behavior and choices on the small scale. I think most people just don't realize how much small gestures can do for them in terms of achieving their "Big Picture"; they just get frustrated with minor setbacks.

If you look very closely at a small picture, it can appear big.

If you look at the big picture from a long long way away, it seems very small.

If you cross your eyes slightly and don't really look at the Big Picture but rather
through it, a lovely under-water scene with a starfish will appear.

If the wind changes, you'll stay like that.

in the big picture the Big Brother thread seems very insignificant and meaningless, as does Big Brother
