spoon is totally great for many various things.
e.g. having anything like a choice, i've eaten with spoon every salad put before me since 1975.

Not in the office, thank FUCK. Which means her constant phone chatter cannot distract me from my medians and means.

Possibly Kate Again (kate), Friday, 4 June 2004 13:22 (twenty-one years ago)

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Friday, 4 June 2004 13:25 (twenty-one years ago)

cutty (mcutt), Friday, 4 June 2004 13:30 (twenty-one years ago)

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 4 June 2004 13:33 (twenty-one years ago)

okeh then...

my co'orker is "currently" finishing the measuring of 398 skeletons (16th-18th century) which has taken him almost 2 years to accomplish. OH ALL THAT CENTURIES-OLD DUST HE'S WHIRLED UP EVERY TIME AAAAAAAAAAARRGH!

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Friday, 4 June 2004 13:39 (twenty-one years ago)

MarkH (MarkH), Friday, 4 June 2004 13:42 (twenty-one years ago)

NAH, alas. the skeletons're on the shelves. in black bags. still.

t\'\'t (t\'\'t), Friday, 4 June 2004 13:44 (twenty-one years ago)

they had a discussion about how reality tv shows were terrible for the people that are on them (based on watching the massive queue at the business design centre of parents and their kids hoping for a spot on a new bbc show of some sort), and then about how much they all watch them. weird. i didn't have anything to add.

colette (a2lette), Friday, 4 June 2004 13:49 (twenty-one years ago)

My co-worker is currently (no, actually, but earlier today) sitting on a chair on the spot where our smoking area used to be until yesterday when it was torn down, grumpily smoking a cigarette straight out into the foyer.

Had I not been so goddamn irritated by having to run four flights of stairs down and through security doors, across a large hall, and then through another set of doors just to have a smoke, I would have thought it inconsiderate of her.

Hanna (Hanna), Friday, 4 June 2004 13:51 (twenty-one years ago)

..eating a yoghurt which for some reason he can't get onto his spoon without first scraping it around the yoghurt container about 10 times before each mouthful... scrape scrape scrape-scrape scraaaaape scrape-scrape-scrape scraaaaaape slurp [repeat for 15 minutes]. At least he's not brought in a bag of raw carrots to crunch through today.

Asking me stupid questions that need to be asked of the Sys Admin. I don't even know where the server is. This is deliberately on purpose, because I didn't want to be asked sys admin type questions. I need a t-shirt that says "don't ask me, ask the sys admin" but most people probably don't know the difference between a sys admin and a database admin anyway... grrrrr.

#1 Playing a flash game on some website.
#2 Watching #1 play the flash game.
#3 Showing off pictures of her preschooler in preschool robe and mortarboard (shiny and pink).
#4 Muttering into the telephone.
