yes, in the next building. they're all sort of attached and share airshafts. thus, i can usually hear what the folks in 512 are up to more clearly than what the people in my own building are doing.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I heard my neighbor through the walls. Coming. Bellowing actually. The thing was -- his bellows were not accompanied by a female or another male bellowing. So either he gives himself the world's most outstanding handjob, or the other partner went unsatisfied. (Or, the other person doesn't make noise when she/he/it comes.)

Thin walls - you usually hear the woman more easily than the man. This also holds for arguments. It has something to do with frequencies.
