Why won't girls shave their faces?

Girls will shave everything else on their body (exception: arm hair). Girls will not shave thier faces. Blech, wax, 'nair': yes. Shave: no. Is it too masculine? Is shaving bad for girl faces? Why?

Well, does five o'clock shadow seem particularly feminine to you?

Maybe hairy girls should tho... would give you dudes a taste of the stubble burns us beardless types suffer from whenever we make out with one of you.

well, it's only stubble if you KEEP shaving: get the facefur started with a year or two of shaving, then grow it out!!

As you know, it's those bald girly gaps — cheeks, nose, forehead eee-ew — that we dislike most. Silky smooth fuzz top to toe: crimson, aquamarine, purple…

There was a chick on the metro channel who had a moustache and goatee. She was a lesbian, shockingly enough and she enjoyed the attention, said it didn't bother her and if it bothers anyone else, that's their problem.

Does anyone else find the use of the word "won't" in this question (rather than "don't") slightly odd?

jamesmichaelward, Sunday, 4 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

it implies intent.

not all girls shave, some for feminist political reason, and some because sometimes its a pain in the arse and its winter anyway... Maybe it has something to do with the sensitivity of the skin on women's faces unlike the male's coarser, tougher skin? There has to be a less painful way of going about it other than scraping a razor over one's face.

A friend of mine's father (who is inordinately vain for no known reason) spent a painful tuesday with his son trying to wax their faces, why don't men wax and endure the pain women deal with?

Have you seen the amount of blood you can get if you wax somewhere that really doesn't want to be waxed? When my other half was complaining about how uncomfortable waxing was, I offered to try it too. Well fuck me if it didn't practically pull the whole sodding epidermis off!

If you want to peel your face, gents, you know what to do...

It do BLEED, yes. Straight from the pores, how yummy. However, I'm sad to say that the results ARE fantastic after a day or two and it is worth the pane. However.. it hurts! It hurts! I suggest waxing after a stiff GIN.

And shaving would lead to MANG BRISTLES and obvious hair and looking really rubbidge. Also I am a soft skinned gurlie and it would no doubt make me haf a rash. I get bristle rash from mangs so it would be very bad slashing at myself. Hee hee. It is an amusing thort though. I also didn't realise that mang razors and lady razors (IE my VENUS vs MACH 5ive!) were different but apparently they are. Worth the money in the end, eh? There isn't much to shave on a lady face either, but if you shaved I am sure it would just get worse.

Haf any mang on here waxed their face?

meng haf more sengse

If it bleeds, that means it worked properly!

I thought the Venus was just Mach 5 For Girlz.
