Surely this psychologically depends on which board you were first aware of, most ILM veterans - have to press LUSENET to access to ILE, going to a link - would indicate a move to the left, due to the spatial placing of LUSENET - is on the left the screen (in relation to Human-Computer Interaction) - rather than on the right of the screen - which further signifies why ILE is associated with the left for ILM veterans.
For those who started on ILE first - this cognitive process would be reversed, i.e ILM would be on the left.

What does that mean? It sounds very wrong. I do not think I think in sides. I'm seeing ILE slightly in front of ILM. In a 3D way. I don't go ILM, so I suppose it would be at the back.

Possible explanation - if looking at the two in different windows, I always open ILE first, therefore it appears left of ILM in internet explorer.

Just to clear this up, ILE is on the left, ILM is on the right, and I Love Games is underneath the carpet, directly in the middle.

The only way that ILE would be on the right is if it were called "I Love Everything But Music." This is because ILX would be read before IL-not-X, which would make more sense to the reader. As it stands, it goes ILE then ILM because since ILE is all-inclusive, you have to put it either at the start or the end of the list, and there's no way in hell that ILE is further right than I Love AFL. So it goes ILE, then ILM, then other stuff. ILG, I guess. Then the baseball one.

― Alba, Thursday, 8 November 2007 21:51 (seventeen years ago)
ILM turns counterclockwise round ILE.
― M.V., Thursday, 8 November 2007 22:29 (seventeen years ago)
on the front page of ILX, ILE is listed first, then ILM. therefore ILE comes first. therefore it's on the left. wtf people.

I heard of ILM first, posted to ILM for at least a year before I ever posted to ILE, and still post to ILM five times as much as I post to ILE, so ILM on the left, it is. In fact, I refer to the whole site as ILM, rather than as ILX.
