I saw the film yesterday, and it's very good. The story isn't - the original wasn't that hot, but the cuts needed to make a film of it have just diluted the narrative. The acting is fantastic, though, and the look is just astonishing.

I also got to sit next to a member of Atomic Kitten, in front of John Hurt and behind Simon Rattle. How cool am I?

Because I was delivering booze to his house. Kathy Burke gave me a fiver too and she was very nice. The picture of Harry Potter/Daniel Radcliffe on the front of the papers does make him look a bit older than he is. He looks like some kind of Yehudi Menuhin graduate.
