So, I will be 26 years of age on Saturday (19th) and am celebrating the fact in Preston Park in Brighton, UK. If you would like to join me for al fresco Scrabble, Pimms and frisbee, do feel free to come along to the park from 2.30pm.

I had a fantastic day, thank you so much everyone for the gifts and cards and food, and for not mocking my feeble performance at French cricket :)

I woke up on Sunday with all kinds of inexplicable aches and pains - I suppose after all the wine and mead and beer it's quite possible that one or more of you did beat me up, I can't remember. Or it could be the unaccustomed exercise?

And I hope that Greg, who cheerily got into a taxi around midnight bound for a mystery rave 'towards Worthing', arrived safely and got home ok too!

'Quim' seems to be a reasonably popular first name in Catalonia fyi. Probs an abbreviation of Joaquim, but you know.
