I forgot to add my own answer. The last time I surprised myself was when a girl I kinda liked complimented me on something I drew and arrogantly I said "yeah, I know it's good". I was surprised I could ever say anything like that.

What I said wasn't arrogant itself, it was that I said it arrogantly. I was very cold about it for some reason. Plus, I actually didn't think it was a good drawing.
