Which you can find right here without having to do the register hoo-hah via the official SW site. Will Hayden Christensen cut the mustard? Does Yoda look pissed off? Why does Ewan McGregor now look like a refugee from the Doobie Brothers? Since when does Watto wear Kangols? Etc.

wrath of khan is better than any of the star wars movies.

ethan, Monday, 5 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Wrath of Khan does certainly have that weirdass genius moment where Shatner's eyes bug out and he screams "KHAAAAAAAAANNN!" I mean, even for him, that's nuts.

new star trek with scott bakula, any good?

Ed, Monday, 5 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

It looks great. Very promising, but I suspect the teaser was almost cut exclusively to bring back the Star Wars nazi-geeks into some sort of "It has Bobba Fett/Must see it 60 times in theater" type of trance. Lovely scenes though, feels very Star Wars, Christensen I suspect will indeed cut the mustard, Yoda looks a bit evil and Ewan with beard rocks.

Yeah, colour me a nerd but that looks cool. Now I'm all excited about it again.

The CGIness of Watto is offputting tho.

One other thing: People had to be *evacuated* the Doobie Brothers, Ned?!

Kim, Tuesday, 6 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I saw it on Newsround...there wasn't a whole lot to it! But all I can say thus far is, Boba Fett = RoXoR!

james, Tuesday, 6 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I also saw it on Newsround - I liked the fact that they had Vader breath on it and Boba Fett looked cool. Very perturbed by the re- appearance of Watto though.

Jonnie, Tuesday, 6 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Whoops, better make that evacuated FROM the Doobie Bros.

Oh mornings, how I despise thee...

The fiance watches it -- it's like Walker Texas Ranger with spaceships.

The Episode II was off-putting and traumatic, because the massive furry terror that was THE BEARD.

I did noticed that Lucas didn't feature Jar Jar in the clips. What a smart and evil man, because heaven knows he'll indulge himself by having that giant squawking clown stanking the movie up.

Nicole, Tuesday, 6 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Allegedly that's not Boba Fett but a fellow comrade in bounty hunter arms, Jango Fett. Beyond that is a mystery...

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 6 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

No, Jango Fett is Boba Fett's father, duh.

I feel deep shame for knowing this, but if you read Corona Coming Attractions long enough...

Nicole, Tuesday, 6 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Phew. This is knowledge I'm sorta glad I don't have. ;-)

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 6 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I heard that Jango Fett was gonna say something like "I'm just a humble bounty hunter trying to make my way in the universe"!

james, Tuesday, 6 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

this is silly.

ethan, Tuesday, 6 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I thought Django Reinhardt was Boba Fett's Dad. That's why Sean Penn's character in Sweet And Lowdown admired him so much.

Pete, Wednesday, 7 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Pete returns! Oh dear. ;-)
