protean personality types: C/D

Inspired in part by the thread about predictability. How about those few people you know who aren't predictable in the least? Do you find their flexibility to be attractive and stimulating, or merely exhausting or even a bit frightening? Also partly inspired by an article I read somewhere which stated that one of the principal reasons for Al Gore's defeat at the hands of Bush on the televised debates was that he actually listened to what the American public was saying about his performance: he tried to reinvent himself as cuter/cuddlyer.
