I installed an air conditioner today! Cost more than I wanted, cut my hand installing, and it might fall out and kill someone, but I haven't been able to sleep properly for the last week in New York, so I'm excited about the coolness tonight.
Also, I bought a new shirt from Century 21, and I hardly ever buy clothes.

Today I am working approximately 4 blocks from one of my favorite used bookstores.

(Those 4 blocks exemplify the sort of suburban sprawl that pisses off urban planners, so I would not be able to walk there during lunchtime and get back within a reasonable amount of time. But eventually this workday will come to an end and I will be able to go to Book Alcove.)
