Does anybody who studied the arts regret not studying the sciences? Or vice versa?

I reget studying engineering over design, I'm not finished yet, final year. I regrey not being able to take art and design technology to GCSE , (my school didn't allow you to take 2 'practical' subjects). My art teacher had just started to bring out some artistic skill, not talent I hasten to add, which would have been very useful in my design and may have persuaded me to be a bit more headstrong when I chose my degree. (My school's view on industrial/product design was that it wasn't a 'proper degree'). I want o know so much more about philosiphy, history, art, literature etc. but don't really regret not studying them, Ithink it would have spoiled my enjoyment.

This thread could have been made for me! At the age of 14, when choosing GCSEs, I went for as many sciences as I could pile on. I like them, I'm logical, I enjoy learning about the world around us in a factual way. I got all As. Then I go and choose my A levels. Is economics a science? All of a sudden I'm an artist (a humanitarian? Neither sounds right). I got to university to study Italian and Film. Both have sciency bits in them, and suddenly I'm scared of facts. Nooooo!

I leave university, I get a job. in television. As a creative. I envy people whose life revolves around known things. I consider a change of career. But it's too late. Here I am, an accountant in a creator's shell. What should I do? Aaaargh!

I am forming the attitude that I should take as much science and logical art (i.e. writing for clarity) in school because I'm much more likely to seek out artistic knowledge than scientific knowledge outside of requirements. This may be dangerous, though; next semester I've got precalc, physics, gym (ugh) and history, and if I truly despise it I will change my system.

yes and no..i regret not studying more of the philosophical sciences ie cognitive, AI stuff, and some computing, but I reject the rationalist absolutism of much of it, so there's the rub.
