If the concept of reciprocity exists, then can any form of exploitation be ruled unnaceptable, and if so, where is the line drawn?

Exploitation is a word I use in a positive (albeit corporate) context. My company exploits the rights to market or license certain products. Does this mean we have to consider an empirical difference between human exploitation and the exploitation of inanimate things or situations?

To extract value from something

Shall I extract a pint of blood from you Mr. Q? What would you need in exchange?

exploitation by def. is non-reciprocal in nature, though perhaps mutually agreed on in practice.

two years pass...
exploit is to misuse a persons rights, which i have gone through especially when u r a minor, and ignore the impact it has on that person,.I plead with people who does not respect a minor not to harm him or her.

the sense of "use selfishly" first arises in 1838.

Before that, exploitation is associated more with exploits - heroic acts. And to exploit a natural resource or to exploit a natural talent or whatever is merely to achieve something.

What happens after 1838 is that all these achievements are given a political reading by an emerging revolutionary culture (socialists, feminists, anarchists, anti-colonialists, etc). Exploits started to look like they were always at the expense of someone or something else, such as 'discovering' a land, like Australia or America, when it was already inhabited! Or, when exploited natural resources such as coal meant not only that you were exploiting (in the new sense) the earth, but also, that you were exploiting (ditto) child labour to do it!
