Sussed 7 was a success! Vaguely sparsely attended but most who came stayed and had a good time and spent a lot at the bar. We've got another one in December, on the 5th - yet again this might well be the last if people don't show up.
Thanks hugely to Lixi, Alan, Graham, Zoe, Mark, Alex T for rocking up and having fun. All the people requesting stuff were foXoR - and also this was the first ever Sussed at which "One More Time", "Baby One More Time" and "Get Ur Freak On" were not played gasp!

I will try to scrape together some kind of playlist from my addled brain and post it later.
Next Sussed is also the day before my company 'day out' in the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull so frankly I will need solace after that.

They haven't got the sangria back no. Alex T drank cranberry breezers all night and I drank horrible horrible rolling rock. Ugh.

Isn't this the entire Club Sussed agenda? The funny thing is that no matter how tired a trick wrong-footing indierockist kids might seem on FT/ILM, out in the wider world it's still got a lot of mileage.

Why? Or what's the point of it? Or why are you all so obsessed with indie baiting and not being indie when you are essentially indie music fans?
I still think the whole anti-indie thing on ILE/ILM is a bit sad, especially so when the sussed playlist sounds like the discos at the Bowlie Weekender.

it is a bit fish barrel shooting, but you should see their faces -- it's a PIC-TCHER!

Alan is right - it's nothing-but-indie people we're against, but we're also against nothing-but-pop (who are less vociferous online therefore you see less of this side on ILM/E but more intolerant in a club setting)
