I need a builder, goddamnit!

Sorry for such a dull topic but I really need a decent builder in north London/Enfield area for some repointing work. All the numbers in Yellow Pages seem to be out of date or just some dodgy geezer's mobile and I don't wanna get fleeced. If anyone can help I'd be dead grateful...

Don't use a firm called Ridgelake.

repointing's pretty easy, if you have time.

We'd give it a go ourselves but we're total DIY novices and it seems like a pretty big job, involving tall ladders and stuff. So I'd much rather pay a professional to do the job in a lot less time than it'd take us.

sensible move, it's only worth doing yourself if it's safe to do so i.e one storey.

Do you own now, Gareth?

These guys did some good work on our house, but they're now out of business. Sorry to be of no use whatsoever.

I can recommend a good decorators' merchant, namely Brewer's. If only because I worked there two years ago. :-D

I'll build for you over the summer if I can earn a bit of spare cash, btw. I'm pretty hard-up.

(only half-joking)

I will build you a progressive, micromanaged structure that will shun from evoking a time and a place, but will constantly evolve, occasionally incorporating hard techno aftertouches and post-production dynamic shift.

Is CIS around? She can plumb IIRC.

65DOS rivets fitted as standard.
