The chain introduced a new line of frozen drinks Wednesday, including frozen original kreme -- a drinkable version of the company's signature doughnut -- raspberry, latte and double chocolate...

ken c (ken c), Friday, 23 July 2004 11:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Good god, "Liquid Donuts: Now NSFW." What's wrong with us?!

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Friday, 23 July 2004 11:26 (twenty-one years ago)

I've already posted a mod request for that lovely pic!!

PinXor (Pinkpanther), Friday, 23 July 2004 11:28 (twenty-one years ago)

That "lovely" pic has shown up on several threads now... grrr...

(Though I suppose it's slightly deserved, I mean, I'm getting nervous reading a thread called "Liquid Fucking Donuts" at work in case anyone thinks I'm googling sex toys or something...)

Ma$onic Boom (kate), Friday, 23 July 2004 11:31 (twenty-one years ago)

I think it's supposed to be Gear's flatmate.

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Friday, 23 July 2004 11:34 (twenty-one years ago)

Hahahahaha!

PinXor (Pinkpanther), Friday, 23 July 2004 11:36 (twenty-one years ago)

oh my god, i want one so bad! will they have them at the uk KK's?

colette (a2lette), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, but do they have caffeine in them? If they were DONUTS AND COFFEE IN THE SAME CUP, you would have my attention.

Ma$onic Boom (kate), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:13 (twenty-one years ago)

mmmmmmmm!

PinXor (Pinkpanther), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:14 (twenty-one years ago)

(Remember Gingerbread Latte? How could you forget? Mmmm, why can't it be winter again, so it can be Christmas, and gingerbread latte can be back...)

Ma$onic Boom (kate), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:16 (twenty-one years ago)

Because lady, we have cocktails & pimms in the summer!!!

PinXor (Pinkpanther), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, but there isn't any COFFEE in cocktails. Unless we can have... COFFEE COCKTAILS!!!

Ma$onic Boom (kate), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:18 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm sure you can get coffee cocktails! Where we're going on sat they do a cocktails called a nutty earnest, which is the best evah!

PinXor (Pinkpanther), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:19 (twenty-one years ago)

i don't like coffee! even coffee that is hidden by ice cream and chocolate makes me ill. ick.

now if we could get lemonade froot coolers from 7-11, that would be another story. damn, those things are good.

colette (a2lette), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Porkypie's Coffee Cocktail (aka ruin inducer):

Take some espresso and mix it with equal parts of vodka and sugar. Drink as much as you can as quickly as you can. Spend the rest of the year in bed.

Madchen (Madchen), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Egg Nog Latte >>>>>>> Gingerbread latte. In fact, all Starbucks 'specials' >>>>> their regular coffee (which isn't up to much).

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Ugh, nah, I don't like eggnogg latte, it was too... I don't know, sickly and sweet. Not like Gingerbread Latte wasn't sweet, I just didn't like the eggnog kind. Maybe cause it wasn't alcoholic eggnog!

Ma$onic Boom (kate), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:32 (twenty-one years ago)

eggnog shake at mcdonalds! second only to the shamrock shake! mmmmm. clearly i need cold yummy beverages today...

colette (a2lette), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:39 (twenty-one years ago)

i dunno if i should feel left out or be glad that i hadn't sampled porkypie's coffee cocktail at that ATP.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:39 (twenty-one years ago)

I want to get hooked up to a liquid donut IV. I would never frown again.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 23 July 2004 12:53 (twenty-one years ago)

I had rum and coffee cocktails in Cuba that I feel the need to replicate tonight. I suspect these may lead to me burning the house down if I have too many (as a friend nearly did on an absinthe evening).

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Friday, 23 July 2004 13:00 (twenty-one years ago)

USB ports be cheating.

FIREWIRE, DUDE!!!!

Ma$onic Boom (kate), Friday, 23 July 2004 13:03 (twenty-one years ago)

If I could get a Firewire coffeemaker for my powerbook, I would be the happiest girl in the world.

And a viola. I want a real viola. My viola sample is pants, so I've been playing the cello in the wrong octave.

Ma$onic Boom (kate), Friday, 23 July 2004 13:03 (twenty-one years ago)

A string quartet sample won't do? Cello is so last year, like G!Y!B!E!
I'm holding out for the ITCHY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO revival.
(Maybe I shouldn't have had those two XLs this morning)

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Friday, 23 July 2004 13:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, but there isn't any COFFEE in cocktails.

The Cosi chain in the U.S., back when they were Xando, used to specialize in coffee cocktails, hot and cold. (I haven't been into one recently enough to know if they still emphasize these.)

j.lu (j.lu), Friday, 23 July 2004 13:07 (twenty-one years ago)

play the cello through a pitch shifter! omg, and then sing through it with a vocoder omg.

i discovered once that i could play the violin one hungover morning in glasgow.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 23 July 2004 13:07 (twenty-one years ago)

i want an e-bow too.

maybe i should e-bay for one.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 23 July 2004 13:07 (twenty-one years ago)

I never thought you'd play viola cause celloing is so passe...

ken c (ken c), Friday, 23 July 2004 13:21 (twenty-one years ago)

As am I at the moment. But it's got a cd burner and a DVD player so i forgive it. Now if only the DVD viewer software would load on my thinkpad I'd be in business.
(On a happy note, I just found Visual C++6 disks in the MSDN box of goodies. We thought they were MIA for years.)

2.2.2.1 The Accept-Additions header field

In HTTP, the "Accept" request-header field is used to specify media
types which are acceptable for the response. However, in HTCPCP, the
response may result in additional actions on the part of the
automated pot. For this reason, HTCPCP adds a new header field,
"Accept-Additions":

Accept-Additions = "Accept-Additions" ":"
#( addition-range [ accept-params ] )

addition-type = ( "*"
| milk-type
| syrup-type
| sweetener-type
| spice-type
| alcohol-type
) *( ";" parameter )
milk-type = ( "Cream" | "Half-and-half" | "Whole-milk"
| "Part-Skim" | "Skim" | "Non-Dairy" )
syrup-type = ( "Vanilla" | "Almond" | "Raspberry"
| "Chocolate" )
alcohol-type = ( "Whisky" | "Rum" | "Kahlua" | "Aquavit" )

2.2.3 Omitted Header Fields

No options were given for decaffeinated coffee. What's the point?

Bwah hah hah hah hah!
