Do women get turned on by mens body odour?

I know of at least three women that find some levels of male body odour a real turn on. Is this a common occurrence or do I just know some fucked up women????

is today a focus group day for wimmin on the attributes of men?

ken c (ken c), Friday, 23 July 2004 15:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Women who confuse Brut with BO, c/d?

Huck, Friday, 23 July 2004 15:38 (twenty-one years ago)

I dig it. "some levels" being the operative phrase though.

teeny (teeny), Friday, 23 July 2004 15:39 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm guessing foot odour doesn't count.

Huck, Friday, 23 July 2004 15:40 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm guessing it depends on the food.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 23 July 2004 15:40 (twenty-one years ago)

What about the sweat of my balls?

TheRealJMod (TheRealJMod), Friday, 23 July 2004 15:40 (twenty-one years ago)

those that don't exist cannot sweat.

ken c (ken c), Friday, 23 July 2004 15:41 (twenty-one years ago)

If a ball sweats in forest...

Huck, Friday, 23 July 2004 15:42 (twenty-one years ago)

What is the smell of one ball sweating?

Huck, Friday, 23 July 2004 15:42 (twenty-one years ago)

ask Lance Armstrong.

hstencil (hstencil), Friday, 23 July 2004 15:43 (twenty-one years ago)

i like the way my man smells. i prefer a slight odour to soap smell. i agree with teeny about levels.

Maria D. (Maria D.), Friday, 23 July 2004 15:44 (twenty-one years ago)

"man-essence"

R.I.M.A. (Barima), Friday, 23 July 2004 15:50 (twenty-one years ago)

God Yes.
In the words of Olivia Newton John.

'He ran by me, got my suit damp'
But the way men smell. Not Body Odour.
Let's be clear about that.

Nellie (nellskies), Friday, 23 July 2004 15:51 (twenty-one years ago)

The ladies all OTM. That earthy scent - nice. BO - not nice. Stinky feet - dud. Overpowering stench of Brut 33/Lynx/etc - HORRIBLY DUD.

Trayce (trayce), Saturday, 24 July 2004 04:13 (twenty-one years ago)

my answer is just no.

Maria (Maria), Saturday, 24 July 2004 04:48 (twenty-one years ago)

ewwwwwwwww

and no.

mouse, Saturday, 24 July 2004 05:22 (twenty-one years ago)

all ladies who say uh huh yeah to "earthy scent" (not b.o., I mean yeah come on) get great big hugs.

I find it useful to have one pair of socks I never wash. Just before a hot date, I rub them on me - a little behind my ears, a little on my chest, and a little in a secret place.

That's almost like what Afrikaa Bambataa says on his weird track on Lovage!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Saturday, 24 July 2004 23:34 (twenty-one years ago)

I would think Afrikaa's socks would be particularly stanky.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Saturday, 24 July 2004 23:41 (twenty-one years ago)

In his words "like something crawled up in ya ass and just died".

nickalicious (nickalicious), Saturday, 24 July 2004 23:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Anyway, just about every (both) girl(s) I've been with have told me that they found my body odour (oooh looky I can spell it old skool style too!) to be a turn on. They also both told me my body odour (I did it again! I R TEH KOOL!) smelled like big stanky sticky icky funk weed and made them want to smoke up, so I honestly don't know what to think.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Saturday, 24 July 2004 23:47 (twenty-one years ago)

My longest period of prolonged not-wearing-deodorant (but still showering every day, don't get me wrong) coincided with the time of my life when I got the most attention/flirtation/propositions from women. I'm not saying there's a connection, but it at least confirmed just what a scam the deodorant companies are running. Interestingly, when I met my wife I hadn't worn any kind of deodorant for about two years -- she said she liked my smell. Now, she makes me wear scentless deodorant, so I don't "stink". Stifling my pheromones? I don't know. Maybe she was just lying before. It's interesting, though.

old sweat smells bad, fresh sweat doesn't, sweat gets old pretty fast

A Nairn (moretap), Sunday, 25 July 2004 03:18 (twenty-one years ago)

my teetotaller ex liked when I smelled of the booze

CeCe Peniston (Anthony Miccio), Sunday, 25 July 2004 04:25 (twenty-one years ago)

sadly I didn't know this until the last months of our relationship drove me to drink

CeCe Peniston (Anthony Miccio), Sunday, 25 July 2004 04:26 (twenty-one years ago)

my boyfriend never wears deoderant. he showers usually twice a day and always smells lovely. smell is such a primal thing. it's the deepest memory I usually have a person.

Ask For Samantha (thatgirl), Sunday, 25 July 2004 09:23 (twenty-one years ago)

cologne, etc. is worse than body odor, i think. i always think it smells like bug spray.

caitlin hell (caitxa), Sunday, 25 July 2004 10:22 (twenty-one years ago)

But bug spray must have been invented after cologne, so they designed bug spray to smell like colgne, right? And ppl encounter cologne more often than bug spray, unless....what kind of INSECT HELL are you living in, Caitlin?!

MarkH (MarkH), Sunday, 25 July 2004 12:17 (twenty-one years ago)

maybe all the boys i encounter are so thrifty they use bug spray as cologne

caitlin hell (caitxa), Sunday, 25 July 2004 19:37 (twenty-one years ago)

that's so indie, i know

caitlin hell (caitxa), Sunday, 25 July 2004 19:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey, it's more practical than a flea collar.
