As well as watching BB5, I've had a look at the previous BBs via the Uncut DVDs and was wondering how people rate the participants.

BB1

I think I got misled by the original list. Wasn't BB2 Stewart spelt that way, not 'Stuart', the unwritten rule of BB being that no two contestants can share a name.

When (sadly) googling for the correct spelling of BB2 Stewart/Stuart's name, I came across some Daily Mail reading type posting this on the BBC website about the depths plumbed by the choice of BB2 contestants:

I can just imagine the cast of the next series: An ex-priest, a murderer, a transvestite, a thalidomide person, an animal rights activist, a convicted rapist, a dentist, a manic depressive, someone dying of a terminal illness, a slaughterman.

Do you think he's returned his TV licence yet at disgust in Nadia, or do you think dentists could sue him for his obvious attempt at slander ("dentist" seems a little out of place in the middle of this list of chattering-class-recognised-deviancies")?

Brian = easily the worst, most irritating BBer ever

Dan is the one I could most stand to be in a room with; for most entertaining, it's probably between Jade, Kitten, Emma and Victor, with Jade winning because Kitten and Emma weren't in the house long enough while Victor's schtick got old quite quickly.

I'd forgotten how utterly fantastic the Michelle/Emma bedsit interlude was.

How Kate Lawler won is a source of much speculation in the Fortean Times. I mean, Craig winning BB1 was kind of understandable - viewers were new to Big Brother and didn't really know what they were doing. But Kate Lawler?

I still would've thought I could name every Big Brother contestant & in order of eviction, but the list at the top shows not.

The ones of whom I have the scant memory:

BB1

Nichola. If she was bald, I remember that much. If not, nothing.

BB2

Narinder. The name rings a bell.
Josh. Josh. Presumably posh. No recollection whatsoever.
Amma. Nothing.

BB3

Sunita. Impossible. I know the Sunita on Coronation Street. That is it.
Lynne. My sister knew her, a little, so I remember she left early and was a blonde.
Sophie. Too many Sophie's on television. Can't remember this one.
Alison. Was she fat and black? If so, I still forget.
Lee. What?
Adele. I might confuse her with Alison.

BB4

Lisa. Um.
Steph. Never heard of her.
Ray. Ray? This is bullshit. There never was a Ray.
Justine. She was the new one I think. Had breasts, possibly, in the days when that was a novelty.

I remember everything afterwards.

All of the people I can't remember, except Ray, Josh and possibly Lee, are women.

YES! He became a bicycle courier. Two weeks after leaving BB! Now, that's anonymous.

For what it's worth, he 'called' Nasty Nick on his 'my wife was murdered in australia' story almost immediately he was alone with nick. Nick mumbled something about having changed some of the details. But Andy was evicted before he could work it out more.
