It's a little embarassing but what's the etiquette when it comes to dating a porn star?

Should you expect her to give out on the first date? Do you HAVE to do a pop shot?

C-Man (C-Man), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 14:40 (twenty-one years ago)

if you are not really dating a porn star, the point is moot.

cutty (mcutt), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 14:42 (twenty-one years ago)

Not felching on the first date would be rude.

Dammit, Cutty.

R.I.M.A. (Barima), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 14:42 (twenty-one years ago)

Bringing enough cocaine for the both of you plus two is only good manners.

sexyDancer (sexyDancer), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 14:57 (twenty-one years ago)

Don't - no matter how tempted you are - quote any lyrics from 'The Ballad Of Chasey Lain'.

R.I.M.A. (Barima), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Rubbers.

Huck, Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:02 (twenty-one years ago)

say, "A lot of p0rn stars go on to do really *be* somone, for example, one recently became Chief Scout".

MarkH (MarkH), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:02 (twenty-one years ago)

"I sucked my way to Eagle Scout, then used felching to go the rest of the way."

R.I.M.A. (Barima), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:06 (twenty-one years ago)

If it's Traci Lords I'm not even sure you can mention porn...

C-Man (C-Man), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:34 (twenty-one years ago)

as if there are any porn stars in C-Man's locality !

DJ Martian (djmartian), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:35 (twenty-one years ago)

is there anything more tedious than the 90s / nothing's shocking attention given to porn stardom, like it's interesting?
howard stern, those t-shirts, so risque...

paulhw (paulhw), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Dude, porn is interesting. That's just a fact. I'm not a fan of it, but if there's a documentary on TV (anyone see "A Family Business" on Channel 4?) I'm sure as hell watching it and ringing everyone I know to switch on too - male and female - cos I've not met anyone who doesn't think "porn - yup, that's interesting".

But watching it is kinda dull, I'll give you that.

C-Man (C-Man), Tuesday, 27 July 2004 15:41 (twenty-one years ago)

"And the nominees for best actor are - "

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 18 November 2004 11:40 (twenty-one years ago)

about what?

Freelance Hiveminder (blueski), Thursday, 18 November 2004 11:48 (twenty-one years ago)

A typical c-man thread that doesn't descend into the usual insulting and bad behaviour.

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 18 November 2004 12:09 (twenty-one years ago)

on the first date, i think you should at least expect to snap a good cumshot with your mobile phone.

titchyschneider (titchyschneider), Thursday, 18 November 2004 12:19 (twenty-one years ago)

they don't really descend into anything anymore mark, partly because they usually start at the lowest rung anyway

Freelance Hiveminder (blueski), Thursday, 18 November 2004 12:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Fair enough. I think 'anymore' is the key word there.

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 18 November 2004 13:19 (twenty-one years ago)

Someone I know did date a porn star, funnily enough. I never asked him, though.

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 18 November 2004 13:21 (twenty-one years ago)

I think gear said he has dated a porn star?

adam... (nordicskilla), Thursday, 18 November 2004 16:03 (twenty-one years ago)

no he just roomed with one

Freelance Hiveminder (blueski), Thursday, 18 November 2004 16:04 (twenty-one years ago)

and filmed it

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 18 November 2004 16:08 (twenty-one years ago)

I think Gear! dated someone who became a pornstar. I don't she was a pornstar while they were dating though.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 18 November 2004 16:21 (twenty-one years ago)

I think Gear! dated someone who BECAME a porn star. I don't think she was a pornstar while they were dating.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 18 November 2004 16:21 (twenty-one years ago)

I felt that was important enough to say twice.

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Thursday, 18 November 2004 16:22 (twenty-one years ago)

becoming involved with a sex worker of any kind brings with it several difficult questions, i for one applaud c-man for his bravery and forthrightness.

g--ff (gcannon), Thursday, 18 November 2004 16:27 (twenty-one years ago)

2 ex-girlfriends have since gone on to do porn (one hardcore, one soft) but they were not the two that i would have guessed would end up doing that if i had to pick 2 from girls i've been involved with... they were level headed and emotionally mature and just generally not headcases. neither have told me what they're up to now though, and we speak somewhat often, so i have to wonder about that...

firstworldman (firstworldman), Thursday, 18 November 2004 18:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Wasn't there a movie about this? The Girl Next Door?

Sanjay McDougal (jaymc), Thursday, 18 November 2004 18:06 (twenty-one years ago)

which i kind of enjoyed unfortunately. : (

firstworldman (firstworldman), Thursday, 18 November 2004 18:10 (twenty-one years ago)

JaXoN (JasonD), Thursday, 18 November 2004 18:16 (twenty-one years ago)

firstworldman (firstworldman), Thursday, 18 November 2004 18:17 (twenty-one years ago)

eleven months pass...

gear (gear), Friday, 21 October 2005 11:46 (twenty years ago)

bingo (Chris V), Friday, 21 October 2005 11:51 (twenty years ago)

But what if you are a guy dating Ron Jeremy?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 21 October 2005 11:52 (twenty years ago)

Or more pertinently a girl dating RJ.

Billy Dods (Billy Dods), Friday, 21 October 2005 11:54 (twenty years ago)

Everyone loves a good prostate stirring.

jw (ex machina), Friday, 21 October 2005 11:55 (twenty years ago)

Panther Pink (Pinkpanther), Friday, 21 October 2005 12:23 (twenty years ago)

But what if you are a guy dating Ron Jeremy?

Well, a guy who won't get lucky, I assume. As far as I know Ronster doesn't do guys or am I wrong?
