WHY
is humanity so enslaved to such a cliché?

WHO
do innocents as such avoid in order to minimize violence from those intoxicated in that dispensible instinct called jealousy?

WHERE
do the altars of gossip dependent on this clich´ stand, and how does one organize an effort to tear down or vandalize those structures?

IN THE MEANTIME
don't ever walk around with a member of the opposite sex unless you are like INSTIGATING MAJA DOOGIN NASTY TIME with that person.

Dear friend Stripey and I still get questions about this (in the somewhat more innocent 'are you going out?' mode) after a decade of knowing each other, though it seems to have died down a bit. Funniest example of this, as I heard it reported to me -- the young son of two good friends saw Stripey more often than me of a time (I was either sick or on vacation or something, or else just couldn't meet up with everyone properly) and at one point solemnly asked if Stripey and I had gotten a divorce.
