Name me one thing more entertaining than watching a drunk monkey stumbling about and falling off things.

I was picturing him in a fez.

Suspenders?

And a pair of glasses with googly-eyes on them.

I think that's overkill.

There's a scene of this in the MST3K movie Overdrawn At The Memory Bank. It's pretty damn entertaining (helps that Raul Julia is providing the "tipsy" internal monologue of the monkey) but I can't say it's the pinnacle of amusement.

Two drunk monkeys stumbling about and falling off two things.

Maybe if they did some drunk monkey ballroom dancing before they fell.

God, the Bush-bashing is just out of hand here.

Once in high school we were shown a film of a bunch of animals in this African jungle eating fruit that had fermented off of the vine - mostly chimpanzees and elephants. DRUNKEN CHIMPANZEES AND ELEPHANTS, PEOPLE. You haven't truly lived until you've seen an elephant stumble into a tree.

The best part though was when they showed the sun coming up the next morning and all these monkeys are sitting around with these horrible pained expressions on their faces, which are cradled in the palms of their hands.

I believe that's the very same footage used in Overdrawn as mentioned above!

Edmundo and Pedrinho the monkey

In 1999 genteel Brazilian striker Edmundo, also known as 'The Animal', faced prosecution by animal welfare groups after hiring an entire circus to perform in his back garden to celebrate his son's first birthday. At the party he got the chimpanzee Pedrinho drunk on beer and whiskey. The two elephants in attendance stuck to water
