Dud dud dud motherf***ing dud, obviously. But I've got a great big load of it right now, and it's so toxic that I even repulse myself. Any advice on how to cope with/cure this condition?

Shopping, a form of therapy and source of delight for all. (And will make you feel in control.) I hope whatever you do makes you feel better, though.

Just sit around your room. Seriously. Listen to your favorite music, write a little, learn to cook something nice, try to feel self- sufficient for a while. Than after a few days/weeks, go out again.

On top of all the other advice, you might also want to wank. Do it. Self-suffient? There's nothing finer.

Wanking=excacerbates neediness. Try to forget you have a penis.

I just assumed you were male, J.lu.

Wanking=excacerbates neediness.

I couldn't agree less. Don't you feel better afterwards? I definately do.

Me needy? Never, oh no. I know what you mean about repulsing yourself.

Thanks for the suggestions. As it happens, 1) I'm female; and 2) I can't afford to stay home from work, but this weekend I'm giving myself permission to stay in Saturday night.

Turn off the lights. Wear all black garments. Play romantic soundtrack music... say Danny Elfman stuff. Then proceed to waltz around your room until your existence is undermined. Alcohol helps. It's like... gothic zen and it really zaps those needs goodbye.
