I have it, and I haven't used it since I get sick of MechAssault a couple months ago. Halo 2 is the only reason I haven't cancelled it.

I'm very excited for Halo 2. I tried going back to the first one last night to take the edge off, but I set the difficulty level too high and got frustrated so I ended up just crashing cars in Burnout 3.

I remember reading about Halo when it was still in development. Not long afterwards, thieves broke into my house while I was sleeping and took my Playstation. I doubt the Playstation could have played it, but that was the end of my hardcore gaming. I never found out what it would have been like to search randomized landscapes for spent machine gun cartridges!! (Whilst getting excitingly shot at, etc I know)
