I must confess I didn't watch it. Like many othere I am allergic to ITV, its home channel in the uk.

Well I like this series a lot. Even though I can often guess early on whodunit, it's still so well-written that it's a pleasure to watch it all unfold anyway. I also like all the gritty details and the ambivalent attitudes to patriotism and their wartime roles that some of the characters have.
