I hope people aren't pissed off with people like me posting humourous URLs but this really is fantastic. See all 4 pages.

I love the "We're living in the 21st Century, and people still wage war to impress invisible superheroes who live in outer space!" line.

we had this last week but still it is excellent and it means I don't have to dig back to find the url again the latest couple (on page 4) are amazingly funny

Ed, Monday, 12 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Bah! I posted this to the Political Cartoonists thread and no one took a blind bit of notice. Good, innit.

one year passes...
i'm a latecomer to this...anyone still finding it funny anyone?
its pretty...extraordinary. but not attracted as much comment as i thought it would. maybe thats because this thread is 2 yrs old

Page 20 wasn't as funny as usual. But that page set in the 80s was hilarious. I'm astounded to find other people reading this as I've been yammering about it in the pub for months to no response. God Bless ILE!

There was a feature about it in the Guardian today - an especially long lag time. Gosh we are all so net culture smart.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 01:23 (twenty-three years ago)

Oh and Fritz - it was Andy M who pointed me to it originally. I must email him.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 11 March 2003 01:24 (twenty-three years ago)

Its still pretty funny although I must admit I haven't looked at it for a long while.

I never noticed the X-ing out of the computer in that one before. Too cool.

three years pass...
A stage play?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 15:11 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah, I saw it when they were running a rough version. It's brilliant, if only to see a man dance in a North Korea costume.

patita (patita), Tuesday, 10 October 2006 15:29 (nineteen years ago)

i saw it earlier this year here in austin... agree that the dancing north korea is a highlight. but it translates pretty well, mainly because i like watching people smirking AND cursing.

So that's what he ended up doing.

unchill english bro (history mayne), Wednesday, 11 August 2010 17:04 (fifteen years ago)

I received an e-mail about that and from the subject thought it was the usual mangled English PE spam.

funny how dude behind this intricate handcraft is the guy behind the shittiest most tossed-off cartoon ever

PLIES N THIGHS (Whiney G. Weingarten), Wednesday, 11 August 2010 17:20 (fifteen years ago)

xp see, the word 'anal' jumped out at me in that URL as well.

Les centimètres énigmatiques (snoball), Wednesday, 11 August 2010 17:26 (fifteen years ago)

wow I hate this guy

HI DERE, Wednesday, 11 August 2010 17:28 (fifteen years ago)

I will film myself doing basic IT support work and try and get an Arts Council grant out of it.

i give him a c for the humor, a for effort, and a pass for tolerability

my stomach is full of anger. and pie. (Hunt3r), Wednesday, 11 August 2010 18:20 (fifteen years ago)

why hate on the guy?

mostly because "Get Your War On" was one of the most useless LCD pandering pieces of shit I've ever read

if someone is allegedly representing my viewpoint in a biting satirical cartoon, I want that person to come across as sharp, smart and studied, not like a college sophomore taking anger out on being dumped against political opponents
