This be the top fifty. Do we associate these users with a specific musician or musicians? I was just thinking while reading some of these posts how I'll think "Alex in NYC" and then think "Killing Joke", or how roxymuzak is always going on about Widespread Panic. Any others?

I'll say Belle and Sebastian for all this lot, as that's how I know them.

Of the people I don't actually know:
Alex in NYC = Killing Joke
Nickalicious = Fishbone
Jel = Poison and/or Bon Jovi
Kate = Sonic Boom/Spiritualised, and the Lollies, obviously

Everyone else I could do an answer for doesn't appear to be in the top 50. I could have a fair shout at other people's taste, but these are the ones that are inextricably linked in my mind.

It was quite fun to see what other posters associated with me. Thing about ILX is because it doesn't rely on avatars it's often hard to remember what conversations were had with whom. I don't think I really paid much attention to the various posting habits of different ILXORS until about 2005 - until then I pretty much viewed it as a sort of soupy hivemind that I interfaced when bored at work.
