nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 9 August 2004 19:01 (twenty-one years ago)

I see no one ever bothered to explain to Corey Haim that it is permissible once in a blue moon to not let his mouth hang open.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 9 August 2004 19:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 20 April 2005 13:22 (twenty years ago)

Dear dear DEAR me.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 20 April 2005 13:22 (twenty years ago)

Haim is also happy about the sudden appearance of one his classic popcorn movies being released for the first time on DVD.

“License To Drive” featured the so-called two Coreys (Feldman, another troubled youth from the past) in a teen comedy that did big box office back in 1988.

But with just about everything ever made on celluloid being released on video, what took so long for this flick to hit the small screen?

“Well, you know, I guess there were certain movies that were, I don't know, one-hit wonders, blockbuster hits … It's a piece that just is timeless. It's just now a whole new generation of kids can watch it.”

As for his future? The blast from the past admits he still wants to act. “I'd like to do another 50 movies,” he concludes. “Yeah, it would be great.”

Even if you wouldn’t quite be able to place the face.

Yeeps.

Scary thing is I saw the end of Lukas somewhere the other day, but I'm damned if I can remember where.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 20 April 2005 13:25 (twenty years ago)

I keep singing the title of this thread to the "Marley and Marley" song from A Muppet Christmas Carol.

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Wednesday, 20 April 2005 13:26 (twenty years ago)

I saw the opening scene of "License to Drive" at the gym a couple weeks ago, it maybe not be timeless but it's certainly CLASSIC.

The Coreys Stage the Biggest Comeback Since... Jami Gertz
Stop the presses! The apocalypse is clearly upon us! According to Variety, once-inseparable onetime Tiger Beat pinups Corey Feldman and Corey Haim have landed a series together. The producers of Wife Swap have cast the erstwhile Lost Boys in The Coreys, an improv comedy in which they would play semifictionalized versions of themselves. (Think Curb Your Enthusiasm; just don't be so enthusiastic about it.) The train wreck in the making is currently being shopped around to cable networks — although I suspect that for cab fare and a Schlitz, the guys would be perfectly happy to do it in your living room.

:-O

Jesus Dan (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 21 June 2006 17:31 (nineteen years ago)

"The Coreys" picks up with Feldman living the comfortable suburban life with his wife Suzie and son, until circumstances bring his old pal Haim back into the picture. Episodes would follow Haim -- single and the total opposite of Feldman -- as he shakes life up for the Feldmans.

RDF USA exec VP of current/development Greg Goldman said because Feldman and Haim have been friends on and off screen for several years, the chemistry between the two " just pops off the screen."

GILLY'S BAGG'EAR VANCE OF COUPARI (Ex Leon), Wednesday, 21 June 2006 18:01 (nineteen years ago)

haha. that's cute that the show will portray feldman as the stable one. aint fiction a laugh?

JULY 29

Ned Raggett, Friday, 20 July 2007 03:40 (eighteen years ago)

Determined to jumpstart his acting career and find a stabilizing force, Haim's moving in with the Feldman's to help get his life on course and to relaunch the "Two Coreys" brand. Can the two former heartthrobs share a house without driving each other crazy? Like the feature film You, Me & Dupree, comedy and tension ensue as Corey & Susie Feldman deal with their challenging new house guest and soon realize that two is company and three is definitely a crowd.

da croupier, Friday, 20 July 2007 04:11 (eighteen years ago)

Haim already spent the money and speed.

dean ge, Friday, 20 July 2007 04:13 (eighteen years ago)
