Mostly classic. But oh the frustration.

strolling down the champs elysees, Tuesday, 10 August 2004 13:07 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm not that imaginative

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 13:10 (twenty-one years ago)

Most of those dresses aren't flattering and/or are worn by annoying girls. What you're looking for are girls in well constructed 50s style sexy dresses or girls in skirts and t-shirts. Not sundresses. Those are lame.

Allyzay Science Explosion (allyzay), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 13:11 (twenty-one years ago)

I LIKE GOTHS

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 13:12 (twenty-one years ago)

adam. (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Now I feel cheap and non-indie for fancying young women in flimsy summer dresses that leave little to the imagination.

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:21 (twenty-one years ago)

dude I don't know where you live, here girls disappear at the first hint of winter.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Where do they go?

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:24 (twenty-one years ago)

someplace warm?

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:24 (twenty-one years ago)

those are always cold, cold.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:25 (twenty-one years ago)

So, hang on. NY women always say there are no straight single men in the city. In winter, all the women migrate, leaving the city full of gay men and lonely husbands? It sounds awesome.

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:27 (twenty-one years ago)

It's true. We all flock to Brazil for several months.

Allyzay Science Explosion (allyzay), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:29 (twenty-one years ago)

gay men, lonely husbands, and like us dorks. Altho actually I think maybe married women stick around, I'm not sure.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:30 (twenty-one years ago)

t.v. dinner consumption skyrockets, and most men don't bother getting out of their pajamas.

lauren (laurenp), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Young men in flimsy pyjamas that leave little to the imagination: classic or dud?

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:35 (twenty-one years ago)

well see okay that just sounds like my normal routine, regardless of season. Esp. when I'm unemployed.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:35 (twenty-one years ago)

please don't imagine that.

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Bun hair that rots?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 18:55 (twenty-one years ago)

LICK MY TEACUP EARS VADER

this thread gave me a flashback to college during that 'first day of warm weather' when all the girls immediately bust out the suggestive clothing..

bill stevens (bscrubbins), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 19:13 (twenty-one years ago)

"flashback" is what they're calling it now?

hstencil (hstencil), Tuesday, 10 August 2004 19:14 (twenty-one years ago)

this thread gave me a flashback to college during that 'first day of warm weather' when all the girls immediately bust out the suggestive clothing..

Sometimes on these days, I make sure to take the route to work that goes through Northwestern U.

Trayce (trayce), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 03:48 (twenty-one years ago)

It's like nu-ILX never happened

Markelby (Mark C), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 11:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Sick Mouthy (Nick Southall), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 11:15 (twenty-one years ago)

You really, really need a wank, Nick.

Markelby (Mark C), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:13 (twenty-one years ago)

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Yr fucking telling me.

x-post haha!

Sick Mouthy (Nick Southall), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Nick, start a thread on which you talk us through the tommy tank.

Markelby (Mark C), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:15 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes. It is a pencil skirt. I find those to be the best of skirts and own many, many of them though they are a bit inconvenient for every day casual wear to be honest.

Be careful here. The only pervy Googler email I have was all to do with pencil skirts. This may or may not prove hotness.

50's-style summer dresses for me.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, prozac.

Sick Mouthy (Nick Southall), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:26 (twenty-one years ago)

But that's supposed to diminish the horn innit? Blimey, what would it be like without...

Sick Mouthy (Nick Southall), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:29 (twenty-one years ago)

One problem with my chosen profession is that I tend to end up working in places utterly bereft of hot girls in sexy dresses. I mean it's not like I get much work done anyway...

Sick Mouthy (Nick Southall), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:30 (twenty-one years ago)

She looks creepy and her eyes are too far apart (or would be if the portraint was 3/4) in that nasty Victorian way. Oh wait, I guess it's more the pit/tit area you're focusing on. Carry on.

xpost that was to the previous girl. Nick WHAT ARE YOU THINKING THAT IS A TINY CHILD EURGH EURGH EURGH.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:31 (twenty-one years ago)

those dresses are both rubbish

the neurotic awakening of s (blueski), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:32 (twenty-one years ago)

And the second girl is like ARSING TWELVE. And a hippy (hemp clothing sucks).

Liz :x (Liz :x), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:33 (twenty-one years ago)

It is? They are? There were no good ones. But if you search google.com images for "summer dress" there's an, ahem, nice image on the third page. Which is apt.

Sick Mouthy (Nick Southall), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:34 (twenty-one years ago)

How come you can surf for pr0n at work, Nick?

This thread promised so much but has only occasionally delivered, thus far.

robster (robster), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:35 (twenty-one years ago)

It's not porn! It's google! God knows how it got through their checks.

Sick Mouthy (Nick Southall), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:37 (twenty-one years ago)

is there a name for the dress that maggie wears in that photo?

It's called a cheongsam, and is associated with China/Taiwan/Hong Kong. Geishas are Japanese, so they would wear a kimono.

j.lu (j.lu), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Get back to work, you.

xpost yes you Robster, you cheeky scamp.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Sick Mouthy (Nick Southall), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 12:47 (twenty-one years ago)

the (now left) (possibly due to my pervage) cutest girl in the office used to wear the cutest bobble hat, and a kinda matching pastel blue and white striped scarf and grey medium length jacket OMG. she was practically asking me to give her a hug so she can keep me warm. and then once i'm warmed up the clothes can come off. phwore.
