should i drive up to my trade show at the allotted time this morning, sign in, visit the seminars, take notes, etc.

or should i go up really late, chill in my hotel room, eat the free food, and otherwise be slack as hell.

obv. i'm aiming for the latter, but something's telling me it will catch up with me...

You should just go along at the proper time. The 'guilt' of not doing so will only ruin your enjoyment of slacking.

See, what I would do is, show up EARLY, then spend the whole day fucking around and not doing anything properly and blaming it on the latecomers. See, the enjoyment I get is from 'slacking' is not in being idle, but in fucking everybody else up real good, and everyone knowing I'm an asshole but not being able to actually PIN anything on me.

Go early. Leave early. Guilt assuaged then fuck about in the hotel room.
