Like "Dynamic Duo": Completely meaningless, yet used anytime there's two of something. There are millions of these, kept alive by headline puns and informalised news reports, and they really bug me (probably cuz I'm paranoid I use them without knowing).

xp ha yeah I see what you're getting at now - check out my arcane knowledge that weather is DIFFERENT AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE YEAR, and we have these things called SEASONS and, lastly some of those SEASONS even have adjective forms! yeah grr.
hold on, I think I half-pronounce the n in "autumn". Never noticed that before.
