This is where a James Bond movie would make productive use of an Evil Genius to stage manage the plot to this point. The imperiled dolphins would be conveniently displayed on the first of two giant television screens, with the imperiled damsels shown on the adjacent screen. Hired goons would be prominent on both screens, grinning with malice. Bond is then forced to choose. It's simple, once you know how.
