E-mail accounts you know little or nothing about

As I get my access at home through SBCYahoo, I recall vaguely signing up for an e-mail address a year and a half ago even though I never intended on using it (and never have). Something prompted me to check it and it turns out I have a mailbox with 2 GB and about 700 spam messages. Maybe I'll wait to see how long it takes to fill up as an experiment of some sort.

I *had* a few hotmail accounts I never check but it turns out they delete all your stuff if you don't sign in every 30 days or so.

I signed up this spamspanker addy as a joke, and I have only ever used it as my ILX email address.

Yet somehow it has gotten a buttload of spam. My other trayce gmail account gets none.

So much for the mail munging!

Odd, the address I'm using has gotten none (possibly harvested, however). Then again, no one ever mails me there. :(

I wonder why I've never gotten any spam messages from THIS e-mail account, then. Even with my old Hushmail address (which no longer works, BTW), whenever I would check the folder that was supposed to hold spam messages, I never saw any. Hm. I actually wouldn't mind spam messages -- at least deleting those messages would actually give me something to do with my e-mail account. *laughs*

I've got almost a half-dozen email accounts, usually with the names of fictional characters I register on the basis of coolness-factor. I was, for a brief while, TyroneSlothrup@hotmail.com

"Fiona Fletcher" has her own yahoo account that I check about once every two or three months. She gets all kinds of crap! Mainly publicists' mailings lists and all kinds of invites to all kinds of gigs and stuff. She hasn't written anything in a year and a half, but still she gets lig offers! Only goes to show...
