Choose your beverage!

I am Ytraxor of Graztork, new ruler of earth. In order to better manage your feeble resources, here is my third decree: each puny human will choose two beverages, one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic that you will consume for the rest of you life with no variation. Water is allowed in addition to the two prepared beverages. Tee-totallers only get one beverage.

You might choose:
Grapefruit Juice
Lager

or:
Coffee
Bourbon

And that's all you'll drink til you die. Please choose.

"What's in a name? The soft drink seemed to "squirt" into your mouth, just like a freshly squeezed grapefruit. For Herb Bishop, the soft drink could have only one name."

I love Squirt (and Coke's equivalent, Citra). Too bad they're not available here.

four years pass...

As of right now, Reed's Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic) and Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee (uhh . . . also non-alcoholic; sorry, messed up the question there).

Daniel, Esq., Wednesday, 25 March 2009 00:18 (fifteen years ago) link

I've decided Reed's kind of sucks compared to a few others I've tried, ginger beer-wise... I like the Ginger People one most, I think. It's a little too much on the sweet side but it's good.

That said, it's great mixed with rye!
