Americans: Is the Pie Higher than it was Four Years Ago?

Years ago, George W. Bush made a solemn pledge to our nation: to make the pie higher. Four years later, we’re forced to ask: is the pie really higher than it was when we began?

Look around: the numbers don’t lie. The pie has not only failed to rise, but by some estimates has even lowered:

The Bush administration can try to blame gravity, but we know the truth: our president has failed to make the pie higher. Even worse, disturbing new evidence reveals that he’s also failed to make the pie safer:

[Actually all jokes aside I'm pretty the sure "make the pie higher" comment was made with regard to cutting taxes for the wealthy (encouragte entrepreneurship, make the pie higher), so he's succeeded fairly well at that. I personally advocate making the pie lower:)
