I got it, but good ol IE requested I install Japanese characters first (which I cancelled).

Go to the arm chair & click on it. there will be some paper under the cushion. then if you combine that with the pencil, it will write a message. then you go to the opposite side of the room to the picture & take out the canister, put the message inside & send it.
