Exchange Student Creeps

Ok, these israeli exhange students crashed my friend party sort of. That is they showed up with people and never left, even when their friends who knew us left. One of these guys drunkenly made out my friend, "K", a previous night. Last night, this same guy who made out with her, "Uri", tried to hook up very vocally and publically with my other friend "H" who is a casual friend of "K" -- in front of K. "H" has a boyfriend and Uri knows this. His attempts were very rude and he wouldn't leave her room.

Uri informed me that basically the reason his friends were studying for a semester in the States was to sleep with American girls and have a good time. He expressed his displeasure with how "uptight" american girls seemed about sex here. I believe he didn't realize his dress here here has a lot of signifiers for: bad pop punk, eurotrashiness and being gay (gelled hair, manner of dress, wearing a necklace made from those linked ball things [you know what I mean right]). I think his lack of knowledge of American perceptions of masculinity are his biggest hiderance to his goals.

Anyway, I assume that most Israeli guys are probably nice and this is just the foreign version of sleazy club dudes.... right? He came across as very crass and nasty to everyone.

Sleazy club dudes are the same the world over (Armenian friends of mine tell similar tales).

Sounds like a worthwhile goal. But yeah, give the fucker an etiquette lesson. Or don't, and watch him embarrass himself at every party during this semester and laugh.

He doesn't realize that (academic) girls perceive how he's dressed as tacky!

Imagine the kind of stories he is sending home to his friends. Great topic for ILX slash

I haven't seen one of those shotbead necklaces in years. Isn't it too early to be adopting mid-90s fashion?

That guy looks like he was dug up from underground, given that necklace then thrown in that swimming pool and now he wants revenge.
