I think this is a rule: unless you're painting the curb, don't use yellow, ever. Don't wear it. Don't make me try to read it. Pick something else -- anything else in the world.

Yellow always = sickness to me, especially after I read "the Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.

Yellow belongs on the Simpsons.

Maybe in nature it is a colour of warning - I am toxic?
