what is the most unpleasant/disgusting thing you have ever seen?

Upsetting wont cut it, so no 'watching my wife go through...' I am talking about things that are to some degree objectively nasty. you have to have seen it with your own eyes.
I know it bespeeks a sheltered life but...
three glasto's ago i was having breakfast with a mate in the green fields when two transient type gentlemen sat down on the same table. They were perfectly friendly and we chatted briefly. There was a half empty beer cup on the table, undoubtedly left over from the night befour, which for some reason had ketchup running all down the indide of it. One of the guys said to us 'is this yours?' we replied that no it was not. He said 'great!' and poured a sashey of sugar into it, and started drinking. The beery ketchup crusting in his beard, my stomach turned, I left the rest of my breakfast. Something about the desperation of that act I found utterly repellent.

I know there are way more unpleasanter things I've seen, but for some reason all that comes to mind right now was, walking around St. Louis, seeing some guy on the other side of the street from me kick and then step on a pidgeon.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 9 September 2004 13:16 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh wait I know another thing: A PLACENTA.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 9 September 2004 13:17 (twenty-one years ago)

An email a friend of mine had sent to me with a video of a lady squatting over a plate and then shitting out what appeared to be a mackerel onto a plate and feeding it to some dude. I didn't know what the hell the thing was until I opened it.

Velveteen Bingo (Chris V), Thursday, 9 September 2004 13:20 (twenty-one years ago)

i saw a guy getting run over by a taxi in new york a few months ago. it was horrid. and the sound of the squeeching and sound of the man falling off his bicycle onto the floor made it even worse.

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 9 September 2004 13:36 (twenty-one years ago)

A display case full of household objects (e.g. combs, wigs, cushions, candles) made from the teeth, bones, hair and fat of people gassed at Auschwitz. Revolting doesn't begin to cover it.

beanz (beanz), Thursday, 9 September 2004 13:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Sound of the WTC going down and everybody screaming.
Let's lock this thread; it sucks.

Too pricey?

One of the only things I ever saw that almost made me vomit was in my high school cafeteria. Someone had spit on the table and was dipping a french fry into it and playing with it. I'm sure that I have seen things that I ought to have found more disgusting, but I don't think I can remember anything else that has ever made me feel close to vomiting (something I very rarely do).

Rockist_Scientist (rockist_scientist), Thursday, 9 September 2004 14:00 (twenty-one years ago)

I saw a woman really crying in her business suit at Waterloo station this morning, and it upset me more than anything I've seen for ages, and much more than it should have.

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 9 September 2004 14:02 (twenty-one years ago)

I love that particular Chick comic but I really wish the next panel had been a description of the actual dirty story. Instead we're left hanging in the balance :(

DJ Mencap0))), Thursday, 9 September 2004 14:02 (twenty-one years ago)

watching a roommate pop another roommates GIGANTIC back zit and hearing the vacumous RELEASE from said mound. after it popped 3 out of the 4 of us dry heaved. also one of the funniest moments in my life.

brock (brock), Thursday, 9 September 2004 14:05 (twenty-one years ago)

A gang of kids starting on a homeless person last year.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 9 September 2004 14:06 (twenty-one years ago)

the point of that comic is that peeking at the girl was the dirtiest thing ever.

ken c (ken c), Thursday, 9 September 2004 14:07 (twenty-one years ago)

when i was in china i saw this guy blow-torching a skinned head of a pig. it was more bizarre to me than gross . . . but still kinda gross. little hairs sticking out from flattened charcoal-y mass...
maybe more disgusting than that was some of the higher class food i was exposed to . . . this weird, grey soup, slightly oily on top & once you plunge the spoon in, all kinds of feet are floating around. little web feet, padded feet . . . claws & nails here & there.

kelsey (kelstarry), Thursday, 9 September 2004 14:13 (twenty-one years ago)

*salivates

i miss that soup :(

I'm not sure if this is SFW or not, but there is no nudity (some surgey pics if you're squeamish about that kind of thing, though).

I don't know if seeing the finished result(s) is more disturbing, or the concept itself, but fuck.

I forgot... a photo of a child with Fournier's Syndrome. I'm not going to search for pics myself, you'll have to do it yourself if you're interested. Seriously unpleasant disease.

beanz (beanz), Thursday, 9 September 2004 14:47 (twenty-one years ago)

DAVE: We've got some genital work planned that's pretty exciting.
Oh brother!

sexyDancer, Thursday, 9 September 2004 14:50 (twenty-one years ago)

A man being hit by a car. He flew through the air (?) and then fell down. the first thing the driver (of the car) did? Step out to check there wasn't any damage to the rental car?!?

That was the worst - it was just very distressing and made us very angry. The most vile thing can be found on filepile: from people drinking up their own vomit to the guy showing the inside of his ass (?). I seriously don't know why I watch it because it makes me nauseous. :-(

jesus nathalie (nathalie), Thursday, 9 September 2004 14:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Brains are common cuisine in the Middle East (where my father's family is from). When I was little, I remember seeing a brain the size of a jumbo egg in the toaster at my aunt's house. They were warming it up before they served it. The sight of a tiny brain in the toaster oven gave me nightmares for months.

Je4nne ƒury (Jeanne Fury), Thursday, 9 September 2004 14:55 (twenty-one years ago)

I think the worst things I have seen in my lifetime, are Sept. 11th and the school massacre in Beslan.
Other than that, I had gotten a book called "A People's Tragedy" about the Russian Revolution and was looking through it late one night looking for a map of an area my mom and I had been discussing. Flipping through pictures, and I came across a *photograph*, from the famine the 1920s, of an (alive) peasant couple who had obviously gone mad and turned cannibal. On the table in front of them were the remains of their victims, including two very recognizable human heads, one of a young man, one of a boy. I wish I could forget that photo, the look in their eyes from madness caused by hunger. There was no other reference to it in the book, no explanation of happened to the people.

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Thursday, 9 September 2004 15:13 (twenty-one years ago)

that twins adding and subtracting body parts is so fucking fake.

and the most unpleasant thing i've ever seen was my dad (the fucker) sent me the video of the american getting his head cut off by terrorists.

JaXoN (JasonD), Thursday, 9 September 2004 17:15 (twenty-one years ago)

Recently.. some scenes from Dans ma peau, film by Marina De Van about a women who cuts herself, which evoked the memory of a former friend, & eventually caused me to start hyperventilating and have to run out of the theater.

daria g (daria g), Thursday, 9 September 2004 17:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Well goddamnit, there goes all my interweb faith. Next you're going to tell me that the goatse.cx man isn't real.

Yeah, I had my doubts, but real or not, seeing it made me put down my sandwich.

chopher, Thursday, 9 September 2004 18:18 (twenty-one years ago)

I saw a clip on one of those grossout sites (Bangedup, or, possibly Stileproject) wherein an Asian woman was administered an egg white enema. She then squatted over a frying pad and proceeded to excrete the contents, which were then cooked up into a scat omelette. Bleh.

figspores (Possumslimm), Saturday, 11 September 2004 01:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually, I did an image search on Google with the filter preference turned off and came up with a photo of a jumper from the WTC, post-jump. Absolutly horrific.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Saturday, 11 September 2004 01:28 (twenty-one years ago)

I just did the same search, Alex, thinking that I could be clinical about whatever the image was. Not as easy as I imagined.

Tonight at ten (kenan), Saturday, 11 September 2004 01:37 (twenty-one years ago)

oh jesus christ, why, oh why, knowing full well how horrible that will be, did I do it anyway?

kyle (akmonday), Saturday, 11 September 2004 02:25 (twenty-one years ago)

you have to have seen it with your own eyes.
