I'm easily amused.

Ronan, Thursday, 15 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Cinema Paradiso. I know its airbrushed and sanitised, but I'm a sucker.

Will, Thursday, 15 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ferris Buellers day off, Bring it on, She's all that.

chris, Thursday, 15 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Chris - I hear ya loud and clear. But do you like highbrow foreign films as well, and does this create problems when you enjoy something like She's All That?

Damian, Thursday, 15 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Highbrow foreign films? I've watched a few, but I like to watch a film to relax and wallow really, I rarely go to the cinema (once so far this year) and very rarely get videos out, but I do always scan through Sky to see what they're showing, usually it ends up with being something non-challenging. I do like the good Northern kitchen sink dramas though, Kes, Billy Liar, Taste of honey etc.

chris, Thursday, 15 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I like Highbrow foreign films and I like teen movies. I can appreciate both thank you very much as they aim at different parts of my psyche.

Pete, Thursday, 15 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Well,I can't help but enjoy films like She's All That,Road Trip and Can't Hardly Wait (She's All That being a particular fave) AND Werner Herzog films and so on,but it's probably not that different to liking Britney Spears and something avant-garde like Ligeti.

Alan Trewartha, Thursday, 15 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

The scary thing is I had a conversation about Teen Wolf 2 a couple of days before Ally C brought it up. I'm fairly certain it's not my favorite movie though.

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington = yes it is as corny as hell, I don't care. I just heart it. Rear Window or Vertigo would be first runner up.
