(psst: after this gets deleted, try posting it again without references to race. Hope that helps!)

Dan Perry '08 (Dan Perry), Saturday, 18 September 2004 13:33 (twenty-one years ago)

HI DERE DAN do you think that would help though? I mean, it's still bull shit either way, right?

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Saturday, 18 September 2004 13:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes and no. I mean, there's an obvious answer but there's a discussion about the systematic institionalized brutalization of the poor that could engender a lot of neat links and historical references (and maybe a PIE CHART hahaha eh).

Dan Perry '08 (Dan Perry), Saturday, 18 September 2004 13:38 (twenty-one years ago)

But yeah, it is still bullshit; I was just trying to make it classist bullshit instead of racist bullshit, because we all know how much ILE loves its classism!

Dan Perry '08 (Dan Perry), Saturday, 18 September 2004 13:39 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm sort of stalling because I've deleted this like five times already and it's getting tiresome. At least while we leave it up and discuss the bullshit I can take a break from deleting it yet again. Which I will.

Obesity is a kind of malnutrition. Try reading a newspaper.

Rocky Horror:
The Sword of Damocles is hanging over my head
And I've got the feeling someone's gonna be cutting the thread
Oh, woe is me
My life is a misery
Oh, can't you see
That I'm at the start of a pretty big downer
I woke up this morning with a start when I fell out of bed

Chorus:
That ain't no crime

Rocky Horror:
And left from my dreaming was a feeling of unnameable dread

Chorus:
That ain't no crime

Rocky Horror:
My high is low
I'm dressed up with no place to go
And all I know
Is I'm at the start of a pretty big downer

Dr. Frank-N-Furter:
Oh, Rocky!

Chorus:
Sha la la la
That ain't no crime

Rocky Horror:
Oh no no no

Chorus:
Sha la la la
That ain't no crime

Rocky Horror:
Oh no no no

Dr. Frank-N-Furter:
Oh, my baby!

Chorus:
Sha la la la
That ain't no crime
That ain't no crime

Rocky Horror:
The Sword of Damocles is hanging over my head

Dr. Frank-N-Furter:
Oh, really!

Chorus:
That ain't no crime

Rocky Horror:
And I've got the feeling someone's gonna be cutting the thread

Chorus:
That ain't no crime

Rocky Horror:
Oh, woe is me
My life is a mystery
And can't you see
That I'm at the start of a pretty big downer

Dr. Frank-N-Furter:
Come here!

Chorus:
Sha la la la
That ain't no crime

Rocky Horror:
Oh no no no

Chorus:
Sha la la la
That ain't no crime

Rocky Horror:
Oh no no no

Chorus:
Sha la la la
That ain't no crime
That ain't no crime

Sha la la la
That ain't no crime

Rocky Horror:
Oh no no no

Chorus:
Sha la la la
That ain't no crime

Rocky Horror:
Oh no no no

Chorus:
Sha la la la
That ain't no crime
That ain't no crime
Sha la la

DP OTM. There are just as many fat poor white folks. More, even. Part of it, I think, is just that good food is more expensive, and low-level jobs don't require as much moving around as they used to, so being in shape and properly nourished is becoming a luxury of the middle class. Strange but true.

Tonight at ten (kenan), Saturday, 18 September 2004 13:50 (twenty-one years ago)

How long should we leave this up before I C on the Ts of it again?

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Saturday, 18 September 2004 13:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Can we just lock this one?

Dan Perry '08 (Dan Perry), Saturday, 18 September 2004 13:52 (twenty-one years ago)

I would, it's not really worth the hassle otherwise.

Matt (Matt), Saturday, 18 September 2004 13:53 (twenty-one years ago)

I say lock it, but mostly because Kenan has to GET BACK TO PACKING.

jaymc (jaymc), Saturday, 18 September 2004 13:53 (twenty-one years ago)

I'M PACKIN' IT!
