The rest of the game looks like a Battlefield 1942 clone, mainly with Iraq settings...

word on the street is that the game(not necessarily this mission, which hasn't been released yet) "sucks serious donkey dicks".

apparently, the game is shovelware, meant for more of mass audience than just hardcore gamers.

but still, just look at the other missions! you can hunt iraqis and shoot terrists:

Kuma\War missions allow subscribers to experience first-hand some of the toughest fighting in the global war on terror because each mission is based on real-world events. Missions are developed and delivered to your computer with unprecedented speed so you can experience these critical current events soon after they happen.

This is some serious shovelware.

This would have been funnier if it was right-wing propaganda. The Kerry missions consist of directing a film crew and smoking weed on the boat.

They should have a W Bush mission. I imagine it would be something like Leisure Suit Larry.

Just take a normal flight sim and add "chemically enhanced" modes. Your pilot talks shit the entire time.

Well, I still have some of them somewhere - don't think they're making any more though.

Vivnedi Universal is putting out a new LSL game. somebody licensed it from Sierra, and Al Lowe is in no way involved.

however, it's ALSO being designed with consoles in mind, which means it will be TEH SUCK.

Lt. Kingfish Del Pickles (Kingfish), Monday, 20 September 2004 05:34 (twenty-one years ago)

Hmm, that does sound worrying. Still, LSL were never among my favourite Sierra games, so it doesn't bother me that much.
